The resin's low moisture absorption and thermal expansion give it superior dimensional stability. TORAYCON® PBT has outstanding chemical resistance, especially to automotive chemicals such as gasoline and oils. The electrical properties of PBT make it the industry standard for connectors and electronics. Its creep and fatigue resistance allow it to be used in demanding applications under load. Flame retardant grades are available with minimal property impact.
