Polylactic Acid (PLA) BCF Yarn

Recently, Toray developed a new classification of yarn specifically for automotive car mat applications utilizing ingeo™ (PLA) BCF materials. Polylactic Acid, or PLA, is made of corn, an annually renewable material, which is carbon neutral. Therefore, PLA BCF is environmentally friendly, as it generates no additional carbon dioxide during its lifecycle.
