Toray developed and released 3D TIMON™ in Japan in 1996. This 3-dimensional injection molding CAE software allows manufactures to predict problems that could occur in processing and predict the quality of molded products without a real trial production. 3D TIMON™ helps customers to improve the design quality and reduce costs of various goods such as automotive parts, home appliances and electrical components, all of which contribute to the development of high-quality plastic products.

The 3D TIMON™ package can perform flow, cooling, mold cooling and warpage simulations in additions to insert molding simulations, birefringence prediction for optical parts as well as interfacing with other FEA Analysis.
