| TORAY GLOBAL OPERATIONS |
|
| Toray established their first overseas manufacturing facility in Thailand in 1963. Since then, Toray has strongly carried their Global Operations and now Toray operates in 21 countries and regions. Toray's medium-term Mangement Issues, Project NT-II, aims to further expand earnings from businesses outside Japan. To this end, Toray has recently established regional headquarters in three ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Thailand & Malaysia) and in China and it has plans to expand into the high-growth IT-related Industry in South Korea. In North America and Europe, Toray looks to increase profits by reinforcing and reforming its business structure as well. |
